Hi again!
Yes, I know it's called resolutions, but revolutions sounds so much better. I mean I am pushing away my old habits and letting the new ones conquer my life. At least I'm hoping that will happen. 2017 wasn't my best year, or actually the last 3 years haven't been, so that's why I am trying to make a difference this time. My list is full of cliches, but I'm fine with that, as long as I keep on going with them. I'm quoting myself directly, so sorry for my language.
1. Write shit down. Keep on writing daily positives and start a blog? Find a way to look back at you progress.
Daily positives is kind of a diary of mine. Every day, I write 5 positive things about that day, just to kind of convince myself that there is something positive about every day. And start a blog? Well, that's what I did, or am doing. I hope that at the end of the year I have something to look back at.
2. Be more crative. Draw more often. Write a draft. You can do it!
I'd like to say I'm a creative person, but the thing is that "I don't have time". I have time, it just very hard to start anything. Writing a draft of a book idea I have would be ideal, but we'll see.
3. Try to work out at least 30 minutes 3 times a week.
So this is more of a basic resolution, but it's something I got to do. I'm not fat, but you can see I enjoy my food, but do not workout to keep the balance. So far, I have actually done this. Go me!
4. Eat healthier. You don't need that shit in your body. Including alcohol. Vegeterian option whenever possible.
And here I am trying to convince myself to eat healthier. This would be ideal and I'm working on it. Thank god I have a whole year on me to accomplish this.
5. Walk in the nature and take time to appreciate it. It's very calming.
No comments on this one. That's just the deal.
6. Work for your future and make decisions you like, not what you think will make others happy.
A big year ahead for me, as I'm starting my A-levels this fall. This also means a lot of decisions considering my future. Hopefully I don't forget to be selfish about these things.
7. Heal.
Nothing but heal. By this I mean my mental health, which hasn't been great if I'm honest. I actually started working on this in December by seeing a therapist. I hope at the end of the year, I will look at this and state that, yes, I healed.
I keep these revolutions next to my bed, taped to my nightstand so that the list is the last thing I see every night before I turn the lights out. Big hopes and dreams on 2018, but as long as it's somewhat better than 2017, I'm good.
Please comment your own revolutions and yeah, see you next week!
Bisous, Maija
